Statement piece created for Liz’s solo exhibition Places 2022, this work is the culmination of working through abstraction and palette knife painting, on a large scale. Painted on linen, the smooth surface gives added vibrancy to the thin, translucent yet surprisingly textural fields of colour.
This work is part of Liz’s ‘Landscapes 22’ series, exploring landscape through palette knife technique, bold translucent colours and abstraction, on unstretched cotton and linen canvases.
It will be shipped from Australia, as an unstretched canvas and will need stretching and framing by the purchaser. It measures 101 x 137 cm after stretching.
