Grass and Daisies

Sometimes I like to do something different when photographing well known plants as daises for example. In this case I focused on the tiny grass in the foreground. In nature the grass flowers do the same jobb as daisie flowers; spreading their pollen to other plants. Grass are wind-pollinated and depend om producing a lot of pollen instead of producing flashing flowers to attract insects. I wanted to highlight these small grass flowers and let the daises step back for a moment. It created a picture with many interpretations. My children call this picture “fried eggs”.

My artwork are sold in a signed edition of 10 only.
