Nautilus

This painting is again one of my happy paintings. Painting and making this picture was so much fun. Again, completely intuitive, haphazard, paint in different layers on the canvas. And then, when everything was dry, I saw the face. A satisfied Mr. Nautilus. He is worked out of the painting with great attention to detail with fineliners. The image is playful and powerful at the same time, pure harmony. Natural and abstracted at the same time, full of warmth. I always want to discover the depths of life, and yet I am so satisfied. Just like Mr. Nautilus.
