Bronzed Bathers

Monoprint created on gelli plate in acrylic paint using stencils and mixed media.

Every print is different – there can be only one (‘mono’) print taken from each set up plate.  Stencils, cut outs, other media are arranged on the printing plate and paint applied.  Paint and images can be layered for different effects.

This is one of a varied series created on a handmade gelatine printing plate, working with cut out images, natural materials (leaves etc), fabric, yarn, stamps using a variety of paints and inks on different paper types.

The work measures 9 cm x 14 cm in a 15 cm x 20 cm white board frame ready for framing.
