A poetic piece that captures the true essence of black stories, through past and current day adversity. Kgole’s masterpiece pays tribute to #SayHerName, a social movement that seeks to raise awareness of the Black female form, that has been subject to victimisation by police brutality and anti- Black violence in the United States and around the world. draws a similar thread, within the same masterpiece, where he ominously alludes to the current Gender Based Violence taking place in South Africa. Kgole, nicknamed the Mighty Ancestor of Limpopo, paints a powerful, breath- taking spiritual experience of why #BlackLivesMatter to him and why the world needs to stop killing Black Women.
