My father leading us almost disappearing over the horizon, me after him, trying to slow him down, stretching my arm upwards. I am followed by my two sisters and my mother, at the back of the group, who observes the scene silently. Claudia holds the pilgrim’s staff, on her way towards a bright and opaque, unpredictable future, leaving behind the dark past, which closes behind the group. The forest representing life is huge, it is warm, chaotic, welcoming, but frightening and chilling at the same time. The family goes on alone, slowly and quietly, united and disjointed, facing nature and its infinite colours with immense courage.
