Tamara Krieger-old

Tamara Krieger is a Swiss artist focusing on collage and mixed-media. She is based near Baden in the Canton of Aargau.

Almost all her figurative works tell a story. One that is obvious and one that is up to the viewer to complete. Harmony in colour and form as well as a sense of humour and some equivocalness are important ingredients in her art.

Her works are compositions of carefully selected fragments, in consistently harmonious settings, enriched with an eclectic imagination. On first sight it may seem that her works are made up of components which have formed a haphazard alliance. However, when looking at them closer it becomes clear that every detail was precisely chosen to bring about an ideal composition.
